Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to;

  • Scoping up capital works renewals programs
  • Formation renewals
  • Liaising with asset managers- priorities and scopes of works
  • Providing ad-hoc technical advice
  • Arranging work with contractors
  • Completing purchase orders
  • Reporting writing, reviewing and approving technical documents

 

About you:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered professional engineer under the Professional Engineer's Act of Queensland.
  • 10+ years' engineering experience.
  • High level of skill in the development of technical aspects of highly complex engineering systems and networks, and the application of new technology and techniques.
  • Experience in planning and undertaking professional work without direct supervision.
  • High level of interpersonal, written and communication, consultation and negotiation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge in developing and implementing standards and procedures for engineering systems and networks.
  • Experience in the design and checking of complex engineering systems and designs including a proven track record of resolving problems to improve overall performance.
