We are working with a large mining company that is developing its portfolio of mining operations to ensure its ongoing success. With a number of major expansion and capital projects scheduled they are going to be extremely busy for the next couple of years.
To ensure they meet the ongoing opportunities with growth, we are currently seeking a Design Engineering Manager to be based in the Perth office. Your diverse, multi-disciplined exposure within the resources industry lends you a wealth of practical knowledge in both process and non-process infrastructure design.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor of Engineering from a recognised institution
- Minimum 10 years engineering design experience in the Mining & Resources industry.
- Good understanding of entire multidisciplinary project scope
- Skilled in the delivery and execution of large projects in multiple operating centres, possessing strong managerial, technical, commercial and contractual skills
- Ability to communicate proficiently both verbally and in writing, in a variety of high-level, technical and business settings.
- Confident in building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
- Experience with development of technical engineering drawings, schedules, models and general correspondence.
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
- Applicants must reside in Australia and have current Australian work rights. This is a local position and will not be offered on a FIFO basis interstate.
