Torque Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Supervisor for a full-time position working for a highly reputable global client. Please note for this role we are seeking applicants located near Mackay.
The Position
Seeking a Supervisor who will be responsible for inspections, maintenance, repairs and upgrades of mining rotating equipment and balance machines. This role will be reporting directly to the East Coast Manager. This role will include aspects of tenders, designs, fabrication, commissioning and site erection.
- Assist with the development and growth of the services division
- Prepare schedules, monitor and report on progress and liaise with subcontractors
- Site visits to oversee aspects of site erection and commissioning
- Coordinate the manufacturing and fabrication of components

Position Requirements
- Formal trade/ tertiary qualifications in Engineering and relevant experience
- Safety Leadership for Supervisors (Section 44):
- RIICOM301D Communicate information, RIIRIS301D Apply risk management processes
- BSBMGT401 Show leadership in the workplace, RIIBEF402D Supervise on-site operations
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and communication skills
- Be able to work independently and in a team
- Ability to follow safety procedures
