Our client is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team located in North West Sydney. This is great opportunity to join an international engineering and service company who are building their Quality Engineering capability. You will collaborate within cross functional teams to ensure quality is delivered.

This position is a contract position for around 6 - 9 months.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Performing quality analysis and inspections (data analysis, benchmark testing etc)
Evaluate raw materials, components and other inputs to the production process and liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure products meet the organisations quality standards
Evaluate the organisations manufacturing processes, systems and technology and recommend changes
Maintain and analyze quality records
Identify needs of improvement and corrective actions
Identify benefits from quality actions (customer satisfaction, COT, CoPQ, other)

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3 years Quality Engineering experience (with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Education)
Good technical understanding of designs and solutions (CAD engineering system user knowledge & Basic office and ERP skills
Excellent written and spoken English (Other languages a benefit)
Knowledge and demonstrated experience of manufacturing/operational processes and improvement learning through application of six sigma, Lean Mfg and other proven methodologies
Resource planning and management skills
Project management skills and experience
Designing skills and ability to utilize latest design/drawing tools and processes
