In this diverse role you will be required to undertake on-site structural assessments to determine cause for damage, failure or collapse of structures or structural elements across all of Victoria. Assessing a diverse variety of structures including residential, commercial and industrial, we undertake impartial investigations and forensic engineering reports. We also provide structural engineering designs and drafting services for a range of different clients. We guarantee you will never get bored.
You will:
- Be self-motivated.
- Have flexibility to travel.
- Enjoy undertaking structural designs and drafting
- Be a great report writer
- Excellent attention and eye for detail.
- Enjoy dealing with people.
- Able to working autonomously.
- Capable of undertaking high-level reporting and fault finding.
- Enjoy working to tough yet rewarding SLA's (this is important for us).
We are looking for someone with one or more of the following (your positive can-do attitude is the key thing we are looking for):
- A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with experience in structural building design & construction.
- Working knowledge of forensic engineering, Australian Standards, Australian Building Practices and the Building Code of Australia.
- Experience in structural designing and drafting
