We are after an experienced bid professional with business development capabilities who likes to develop informed and compelling client responses. This opportunity can be based in our Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra or Adelaide office.

Joining a growing and creative team, the role of the Winning Work Specialists is a crucial connector in leading and delivering the way we win work. The successful candidate will form part of a larger ANZ team, however you will work closely with regional stakeholders to develop pursuit strategies and proposals that are of a very high written and visual quality.

You will be responsible for leading the timely management and engagement of the opportunity from proposal management through to strategy planning, win theme development, writing, editing and interview coaching. Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills coupled with the ability to form effective relationships under time pressures are critical.

To be successful in this role you will bring a curious and creative mindset and a genuine interest and learning focus that is complemented by strong facilitation and writing credentials. Tertiary qualification in writing, journalism, communications, business management or similar and APMP foundation level accreditation highly regarded. A minimum of seven years’ experience within contracting or professional services or firms is an advantage with a focus on Transport, Defence, Energy and Resources and Built Environment.

You will possess strong strategy, writing and time management skills - especially when it comes to large and complex opportunities. You must be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously collaboratively and lead. Effective and efficient communication is your core strength, both verbal and written - it underpins how you lead and shape a winning response. An advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite is a must.

It is a project requirement that the successful candidate is an Australian Citizen, in order to obtain an appropriate security clearance. Existing baseline security clearance will be an advantage. Some short-term travel will be required for the role.
