The Maintenance and Industrial Services Division provides comprehensive multidisciplinary maintenance and improvement solutions including maintenance services, sustaining and minor capital works, shutdowns and operations and facilities management for the resources and energy sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the organisation and management of labour within work teams
- Actively monitor work practices and coach employees to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for work requirements and safety
- Plan and organise work to meet contract time schedule and maximise the efficiency and productivity of the workforce
- Provide direction to employees and contractors on quality requirements
- Communicate with client representatives to inform them of progress and answer queries
- Plan and coordinate resources and equipment for the project to conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost effective manner
To be Successful in this role:
- Mechanical experience in dragline, complex process plant, and heavy industry environments
- Knowledge of mechanical Maintenance Management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Knowledge and application of maintenance performance measurement systems
- Relevant mechanical trade certificate
- Experience in the performance management of a diverse range of trades personnel
- Knowledge of Quality and Safety systems
- You will be required to have all relevant tickets and qualifications required for each project
- Strong communication skills is essential oral and written including negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships at all stakeholder levels
