Rubicor Technical are seeking, on behalf of our client, an experienced asset integrity engineer with RPEQ accreditation to work as part of a small team alongside the project management team.

Our client is undertaking major new project work. The successful candidate will have direct experience in asset and reliability engineering, ideally from a heavy industry background. We are looking for a professional who will ensure client satisfaction and help strengthen project delivery capabilities.
 
The role:
  • Work across the new project providing relevant input into design and engineering phase including review of reports, attending meetings, monitoring of resource levels, monitoring of compliance.
  • Review key deliverables prepared by engineering team.
  • Ensure the proper technical solutions are provided to all the assets by applying new techniques and selection of the most reliable, safe, cost-effective materials, corrosion mitigation, inspection, rotating equipment, testing and protective systems.
  • Provide the client's project management team with trends, analysis and reports regarding asset integrity conditions, maintenance optimisation and cost, production availability and forecasts.
 
About you:
  • Degree qualified Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in heavy industry or similar operations
  • Current RPEQ accreditation
  • Experience in risk management, quality management, technical audits, arbitration and integrity assurance verification and maintenance/ operations
  • Thorough understanding of engineering practices, standards & codes.
 
This role will require you to live and work in Townsville.
