My client is a well established and well known manufacturer of bespoke heavy industrial production lines and plant with multiple overseas contracts in hand. They are currently looking for a experienced and highly skilled mechanical design engineer to join the Engineering Team. Key duties include:
- Production and review of concept, layout and detailed design drawings using AutoCad and Inventor (3D).
- Undertaking engineering calculations.
- Production of BOM's.
- Providing technical support around design functions to the sales and manufacturing teams in both pre and post tender situations.
- Assist in the production of manuals and other support materials.
- Participate in both internal and customer site meetings during various phases of the each project.
The ideal person will be ready to go in terms of experience as the company has a number of projects in hand and so this is not a role for beginners. The role will appeal to person with at least 5 years of mechanical or machine design experience and perhaps looking for the additional challenge of leading a design team in the future.
