About the role
Based in Belmont and reporting to the Western Regional Services Manager, in this role your duties include (but not limited to); provide exceptional support to our existing internal and external customers, provide advice and sales assistance to Service groups. Analyse, input & develop solutions to meet customer needs, provide technical support to the service, sales and marketing team, prepare cost schedules and review technical aspects of sales proposal, identify customer and business opportunity information to the sales team. Assist with sales demonstrations, maintain and accurately report on all service and contract work under taken.
Ensure our customers' success by supporting them through phone, email, web, remotely or on-site to best serve their environment while performing a variety of complex challenges.
Have opportunity to expand your skills through collaboration with different departments to deliver or improve our customers' experience with our products.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will be required to have;
- 5 years industry experience.
- Experience with a wide range of MES and Process historians , OPC, SQL database
- Experience installing, configuring, validating, and tuning Historian and interfaces
- Database skills- familiar with SQL and Oracle databases and scripting
- Experience with process analysis and creating process reports for operations , maintenance and management teams
- Experience with alarm rationalization and knowledge of EEMUA191.
- Experience in Yokogawa products such as Exaquantum , Centum VP & ExaOpc would be well regarded.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking, and system security fundamentals
- Experience with Windows system administration (Server 2016/2012/2008)
- Good technical knowledge of network security and TCP/IP protocol
- Good technical knowledge of networks and related hardware and software
- Superb analytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving difficult problems
- High level of attention to detail
