Your new company
A prominent growth municipality in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Traffic and Transport Engineer to join their supportive and friendly team. This is a 12 month contract that is likely to develop into a permanent role.
Your new role
You will provide advice to the community, other internal units and external organisations regarding transport, pedestrian, parking and traffic management issues and develop effective solutions. You will also assess and provide professional transport and traffic advice on planning and building development referrals.
What you'll need to succeed
You have Transport and Traffic Engineering experience, ideally within a Local Government or State Government environment along with an associated qualification.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, including the wider community.
- Experience in processing and assessing town planning referrals / development applications.
- Experience in carrying out traffic & parking investigations
