The role:

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a Senior Electronics/Electrical Engineer to be part of our smart, diverse, talented and passionate hardware team!

Reporting to the Director of Hardware, the Senior Engineer is accountable for the overall design, validation, testing and certification of new products.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team on the overall design, validation, testing and certification of new products.
• Manage the design consultancy, ensuring project oversight, particularly for the clarity of the specification and plan.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer with the software team.
• Coordinate the production of prototypes.
• Support or lead the design and building of testing platforms.
• Appropriately document all stages of the design process.
• Lead and guide junior staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (electrical, electronics, systems or similar)
• Hardware design experience
• Testing experience
• Digital and analogue circuit knowledge
• Understanding of firmware/software in embedded systems
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Experience leading and working in teams 
• Calm, adaptable and collaborative team member.
