We are seeking a focused and experienced Proposals Engineer to be part of our Projects team based at Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Proposals Team Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and submission of proposals for Project tenders.
What the role looks like:
• Review Clients’ Tender Documentation
• Liaise with relevant team members to prepare technical proposals/quotations
• Source equipment costs and collect product information from suppliers
• Identify potential risks and opportunities during the tender stage
• Ensure that all tenders are delivered in accordance with the Company’s internal procedures.
• Develop program for proposal and tender preparation and manage the tender as per agreed program
• Liaise with the Client Managers through the tender preparation process and post tender submission, to assist in coordinating responses and support
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in a busy industrial environment with hands on experience in the water treatment industry
• Proven experience in proposal preparation and good knowledge of contract management
• Project Management experience desirable
• Highly organised, systematic and agile to change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
