With this new focus the position of a Reliability Manager to drive both the strategic and operational side of maintenance has become available.
 
The Role

Reporting to the Group Engineering Manager, this is a leadership role where you will be responsible for:

• Conduct Root Cause analysis into production losses, abnormally high maintenance costs and repetitive failures and identify root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce or eliminate issues.
• Manage risk in line with strategic objectives, working closely with the Maintenance Planner to ensure preventative and predictive maintenance programs are optimized to ensure equipment availability and maintenance costs are in line with business objectives.
• Manage the asset lifecycle for existing and new assets and providing assistance through all phases of projects for new assets. Also providing expert advice and assistance of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and providing insight into these areas especially in the design and installation phases of projects.
•  Take ownership of knowledge transfer between operations and maintenance and the organisations asset knowledge systems.
• Champion the organisations reliability centered maintenance program and principles.
• Work with the relevant Project Manager to support the successful handover of capital projects to Maintenance.
• Provide technical support to the broader business and provide support to the maintenance group for future reliability and maintenance requirements.

Your Background

To be successful, you will have a proven background in reliability and maintenance with strong management experience from a fast moving manufacturing environment. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to work through change and drive preventative maintenance with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
