Camco Engineering provides a range of manufacturing &
maintenance services to the mining, power generation and oil
and gas sectors. We are currently seeking to employ qualified
and experienced CNC Machinist to work night shift for our Canning Vale workshop.

Key Actions & Responsibilities:

• Setting up of guides, stops and other controls on machining tools. Setting up of cutting and shaping tools, dies in machinery.
• Use machining tools to mill, cut, grind, bore, drill and plane to form various metal stock and castings. All to fine tolerances.
• Interpret and machine components using drawings and specifications. Maintain machinery, including the repair of fluid power equipment and mechanical parts.
• Maintain machinery, including the repair of fluid power equipment and mechanical parts. Operate equipment and carry out all work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out production requirements as shown on Job Sheets and Manufacturing Work Instructions, and as directed.
• Inspect and dimensionally check your work as you proceed.
• Segregate and report nonconforming product.
• Mark all product with Job Number
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and safe manner
• Visually check measuring equipment and report any equipment requiring repair or recalibration
• Report all malfunctions or damaged equipment

Essential Skills & Characteristics:

• Trade certificate in relevant trade;
• Have the ability to use some of the following controls  FUNC control .Siemans controls  and Mazatrol  control;
• Must be able to program and set and run the CNC machines;
• Knowledge of machine shop practices.
