Project Engineer

Project Engineer – New Build – Major Healthcare – 12 months+

My client is one of Australia's most successful and experienced builders that have built a reputation by delivering challenge projects ahead of time and under budget. The client prides itself in delivering high value projects to over $50m.
 
About the Role

Reporting to a highly experienced Project and Site Manager that have been with business collectively for over 15 years you will be required to manage all relevant subcontractors and packages to your skillset. You will ensure that the programme, quality of works and OH&S is adhered to, with a main emphasis to structural and façade work.

Duties

• Co-ordinate all site drawings and documents
• Coordinating trades on site
• Site inspections and liaising with consultants, architects and engineers
• Preparation of RFI's and Site Instructions
• Ensuring adherence to OH&S and QA standards

 
 
The relevant candidate will have: 

• A structural background,
• At least two years’ experience on large construction/structural projects as Project Engineer (preferably for Tier 2 construction company)
• A knowledge of the foundation & footings construction process from a Project Engineer perspective
• Ability to manage daily construction activity to program and cost outlines reporting into Senior Project Engineer
