About the role:
We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Adelaide Energy & Resources team and play a part in the technical delivery of a large number of projects. This position is one based on the sustained growth of our business in Adelaide and will primarily work with clients spanning the oil & gas, mineral processing and water sectors.
The requirements of the position will include:
- Mechanical design for fluid systems, specifically;
- sizing and specifying fluid handling equipment such as pumps, compressors, filters, tanks, pressure vessels, dosing systems, packaged plant for water treatment, hydrocarbons or chemical industries - Preparation of design, design calculations, plant layout, data sheets, specifications, scopes of work, equipment, line and valve lists
- Participation in HAZOP and Safety in Design processes
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with experience in a design environment.
- Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt & work effectively with teams both in Adelaide & interstate
- A self-starter, someone who is comfortable to work autonomously and drive own performance
- Comfort and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals to help further your own technical development
