THE ROLE
We are currently seeking two experienced Project Engineers to join our growing North West Operations Team. Working together on an even time roster of 8/6, based in Karratha, you will be primarily responsible for overall management of multiple projects across the division including planning, coordination and controlling the projects to completion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Typically you will be involved in:
- Planning and co-ordination of works, equipment and personnel
- Preparing and submitting progress claims
- Monitoring project costs
- Co-coordinating direct labour workforce and sub-contractors
- Programming and scheduling works
- Quantity take offs
- Preparing tender submissions
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential
- Proven 2-4 years experience in a similar role within the construction and remediation industries, will be highly regarded
- A strong sense of commitment and willingness to learn
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work methodically and autonomously within a fast paced environment
- Computer literacy skills with strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and MS Project
- Willingness to travel to remote sites as required
- Ability to prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Be highly articulate with excellent attention to detail
