With ongoing growth in our teams across the country, we are searching for Control Systems Engineers at all levels right across the country - Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Mackay.
Our Controls teams are at the heart of what we do. They have the opportunity to lead and manage the design, configuration and commissioning of a variety of control systems, working closely in a multi-discipline project/design office. We look for Engineers who have worked in a project or consulting role and are passionate about helping clients grow and develop within their industry (water, hydrocarbons, infrastructure, defence or mining and minerals.
Our Control Systems team look for teammates who can bring to the team:
- Extensive practical experience, preferably from heavy industry,
- Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering tertiary qualifications,
- Extensive SCADA capability from design to implementation,
- Strong capability with RTU’s and PLC platforms (i.e. Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider),
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Python, C++, Visual Basic,
- Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills with process control hardware and software,
- An attitude to drive innovation through integrated process control solutions (i.e. wireless, smart field devices, remote monitoring and support).
The opportunity also exists for more senior Engineers to take on Senior, Lead and Principle Engineer roles which will see you have:
- Proven experience in leading a team with a focus on their training, development and ongoing mentorship,
- The ability to prepare proposals and tenders (hours estimation and scope definition) for new and ongoing works,
- Confidence to drive project opportunities with current clients,
- Experience in sourcing new clients and leveraging existing relationships to promote your Control Systems team offering,
- A background as a proactive leader, driving process improvement, project governance, team and brand development.
