Mid-level (5/10 years) and Senior (8/12 years) Geotechnical and Tailings Engineer
The Mine Waste and Tailings team is one of the core drivers of the ongoing success of Stantec’s Global Mining Group. We provide services in the mine waste and tailings space to our mining clients globally. As a truly global company with a truly global reach we currently service mine sites in South America, Africa, the US, Canada, SE Asia, Europe and Australia.

- Travel to project sites throughout Australia, Asia-Pacific and beyond
- Manage projects, lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior engineers
- Provide input into and prepare conceptual and detailed engineering designs, engineering studies, feasibility studies and condition assessments
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and work continually to develop business
What we would like from you in terms of education:
- Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (CPEng or REng),
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mining, Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Seismic assessment and design experience, especially Asia Pacific
- General Geotechnical Design experience such as foundation, piling, slope and SI
