Our client is a market leader in the power and energy industry and due to a growth phase in their infrastructure asset management division they are looking to build a team of Asset Analysts to assist in the reporting and analysis of a large number of asset defects within their network. This is a 3 month contract with the opportunity of being extended for another 6 months. Reporting to the Operational Asset Management Manager, the Asset Analyst Officers will be responsible for analysing and processing data and collate this data into effective reporting to be actioned further by Asset Managers. Responsibilities will include:
- Locate 90,000 defects, assess, value and provide recommendations on asset data
- Assist in developing process that will connect the work required to the asset reference
- Utilise company systems (GIS and other GPS tools) and processes to conduct the above activities
- Prepare and distribute data to relevant teams and managers
- Using highly developed interpersonal skills to interact professionally within different departments and management groups when required
To be considered for the role:
- Graduate Engineer - all disciplines
- Exposure to any of the following - GIS, GPS, Cad packages, SAP and Asset management
- Highly developed communication skills, including oral and written reports
- Ability to multi task priorities as required
- Strong MS Office and general computer skills
