What are we looking for?
Off the back of our strong and growing pipeline of work in the Building Services team, a position has been opened to support our projects in Sydney. Your role will include:
- Delivery and sign-off of full electrical design on significant building projects in commercial, retail, health and transport sectors;
- Taking responsibility for resource allocation, collaborating with other design disciplines ensuring the integrity of the overall design, quality assurance, and client expectations are met;
- Working on projects in high rise construction, re-development and upgrade of existing buildings, new builds and complicated structures. Experience in industrial pavements an advantage;
- Understanding our client’s business and the NSW industry, to facilitate building effective and enduring relationships and consolidating both company and personal credibility in the industry; and
- Engaging and utilising the Global Excellence Centres (GECs) as key members and resources of the team.
Who are we looking for?
You will have:
- 12+ years senior industry experience with electrical design engineering is essential;
- Experienced in a cross section of sectors including Retail, Residential, Transport and Commercial projects;
- Relevant post-graduate experience, including supervising aspects of a project, application of standards and technical knowledge;
- Strong technical knowledge of electricity distributors network standards and experience in delivering projects from concept to construction;
- Experience in communications and security systems;
- Strong client focus and the ability to manage all commercial aspects (contracting, invoicing, debt management, client management etc.);
- Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team; and
- Suitable for chartered membership with Engineers Australia.
