We have an exciting opportunity for Powertrain NVH Test Engineer role with our global Automotive client to join their established business at Melbourne for ongoing contract role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide local product development test support for powertrain NVH Systems
- Support ongoing development of existing products for powertrain NVH systems
- Provide test support for PT NVH systems vehicle launch issues in region
- Provide test support for PT NVH systems Issue resolution of local powertrain quality issues
- This role will require operation of NVH Hardware / software including LMS Test lab, HEAD Acoustics, and ATI
Skills and Experience Required :
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Design Preferred
- Working knowledge and experience with Instrumentation and testing of vehicles.
- Strong personal organizational skills, including excellent communication skills and the ability to present clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting/ problem solving skills
- Data acquisition and Data Analysis
- Ability to assess vehicle powertrain NVH performance in vehicle
- Experience in automotive powertrain NVH, vehicle NVH, vehicle RLD or powertrain calibration would be preferable but not mandatory
