Client and role details 

We are partnered with a nationally recognized civil and structural engineering firm who are emerging as one of the leaders in engineering. Continued growth in health infrastructure is demanding a senior manager to join their team in Sydney's Lower North Shore. The successful candidate can expect to enjoy major projects in Australia as well as overseas and a clear pathway to further achievement as an engineer.

A Senior / Principal Civil Engineer in roads and storm water with a strong technical hand to do technical design in engineering who is passionate about clients needs. Proven experience in roads, drainage, earthworks and utility coordination will be favorable. This role will suit a lead who can manage design and a team and who is proficient in the relevant industry soft wares.

Essential criteria 

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
• Above seven to ten years experience.
• Storm water, WSUD, road and drainage design with a particular emphasis in using TUFLOW and Civil 3D.
• Solid exposure in delivering flood studies and flood risk management plans in NSW.
• Design lead with a background in detailed analysis in review hydraulic, hydro-logical and and water quality projects.

• Client orientated with very strong communication skills.
• Well able to work well in a team and, as well, deliver results on your own.
• Ability to lead and manage team, selected projects and design documentation.
• An ambitious individual who is highly motivated in developing their skills further.
