We are currently seeking applications from experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our Respiratory Care - Product Lifecycle Engineering team based in Bella Vista.

Let’s talk about the role:

At ResMed we focus on capability and passion. This is a role that will coordinate and perform mechanical engineering activities required for support of released products within ResMed Quality Standards.

In this role you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Work within the ResMed Quality system, standards and maintain training requirements and within regulatory requirements such as the FDA, ISO, IEC, etc.
• Research, design, and development of products for manufacture.
• Participate in the preparation and review of system documentation including System Specifications, Regression Analyses, Risk Analyses, Regulatory Submissions, etc.
• Testing, verification and validation of products and alterations thereof to ensure they meet the necessary requirements and specifications under anticipated usage scenarios and operating conditions.
• Ensuring full traceability of requirements and verification/validation activities
• Develop test/measurement capabilities according to need.
• Liaise with internal customers and suppliers in relation to design issues.

As a Mechanical Engineer, we expect that you are innovative and has a proven cost-effective approach to achieving market leadership through technical advances.

Holding a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer degree, you will bring into ResMed your knowledge and experience in integrating mechanical components / systems into overall product design coupled with the logical and systematic approach to problem solving.

You will have a minimum of three (3) years engineering experience in a product lifecycle role.

You operate with a high level of autonomy whilst interacting effectively with, and seeking input from team members. You are expected to work well with the members from other teams within ResMed including marketing, manufacturing, clinical and regulatory affairs and to liaise with external contractors and suppliers.

You will have demonstrable experience with 3D CAD preferably moderate to high proficiency in Pro-E, proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook and excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
