Our client is a privately owned national construction company operating a fully integrated civil infrastructure group with over 38 years’ experience. Join the largest urban development contractor in Australia to deliver minor infrastructure upgrades, residential and commercial land development.


About the role

Our Project Engineers are directly responsible for planning and managing elements of the project whilst ensuring the effective quality management process, planning and programming future works, forecasting and cost tracking processes.

• Implementing and monitoring short and medium term construction programs.
• Manage daily project Quality Systems with respect to inspections, checklists, documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively manage safety and environmental compliance across project sites
• Daily cost tracking, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
• Carry out engineering activities to ensure planning and programming of works is completed in conjunction with the site supervision staff.
• Ensure compliance of the works with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards and Risk Management process.

To be successful in this role, you will need

• Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering.
• 4 yrs+ post graduate experience, including previous experience on road and highway infrastructure will be highly regarded.
• Someone looking for a long term career with a contractor.
