Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of materials handling and mining equipment. With global operations and a solid reputation, they are considered world class in the engineering industry.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within their Wollongong offices for an experienced Project Manager - Mechanical to plan, execute and deliver a range of small, medium and large engineering projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Successful delivery of projects in terms of time and cost objectives
- Develop an effective Project Execution Plan for each project
- Monitor and control the schedule, budget and quality of projects
- Liaison with project stakeholders including design engineers, technicians, site supervisors, customers, contractors, suppliers and planning authorities
- Supervise fabrication, procurement, installation and construction work to ensure standards and schedules are maintained
- Reporting of project progress
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field (Associate Diploma or higher)
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering environment
- MS Project and MS Office experience
- Project Engineering experience (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
