These opportunities represent an exciting opportunity to develop your international development career. Working within the multi-disciplinary international team for VicRoads the program lead requires professionals with a minimum of five years international development experience who can synthesise:
- the ability to develop business within international development programmes,
- competent problem-solving skills which produce innovative solutions,
- excellent and proven commercial and strategic capacity,
- highly developed cross-cultural and awareness and international development understanding,
- the capacity to collaborate, motivate, empower and inform colleagues and stakeholders
These skills and capabilities will be deployed to ensure that VicRoads is successful in winning bids to manage international projects and is then responsive to ensure that the projects are managed and completed successfully.
Knowledge and experience of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and World Bank, along with a pre-existing network of international contacts will be required.
