About ASCT
With 30 years experience in geotechnical and civil engineering testing, the staff of ASCT have a thorough knowledge of soil, aggregate and concrete testing and analysis. The company has been operating for 20 years from our Head Office in Ballina, NSW with several other locations and laboratories in Brisbane, Sydney and Coffs Harbour.
The Role
We are currently looking for a motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer to joint our Ballina laboratory.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical advice on varied geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff;
- Establishing client relationships and building business;
- Using advanced techniques, modifications and extension of theories and practices to synthesise and analyse data for decision making/ recommendations;
- Managing, analysing and geotechnical reporting for projects
The Person
The ideal person for this role will demonstrate some or all of the following attributes or experiences:
- You will be a highly motivated and trustworthy team member, who approaches your work with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
- Registered Building Practitioner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client relationship skills
- Extensive fieldwork experience in varied geological conditions
- 8 + years consulting experience in Melbourne
