We are currently working with a leading infrastructure and building developer with a diverse range of projects across many sectors which include building, industrial, civil and environmental projects. We are looking to build the Infrastructure project team and currently seeking a Building Project Engineer to provide support to the Projects Managers and support the delivery of complex projects.
In this role, you will be assisting and coordinating design, costing, tendering, contracts administration of major capital works programs as well as the maintenance program. You will also be supporting various areas of the business across Quality Assurance, Project Management, Contract Management and Geotechnical.
About you:
- The successful candidate must have a degree in construction management or civil engineering (or similar);
- At least three to five years’ experience in undertaking large scale commercial building projects as a project engineer;
- You will be a driven and motivated person, we are looking for a self-starter who not only finds potential risks / problems but also has the ideas to solve them;
- You will have a very strong focus on maintaining a health and safety culture - safety is first with this company; and
- You will have experience working onsite and ideally across different stages of a project (from conception through to maintenance).
