About the role:

We have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Melbourne Buildings team and play a leading role in the technical delivery of a large number of projects.  This position is one based on the sustained growth of our business in Melbourne and will be able to work on a project portfolio spanning the commercial, sports, Defence & Education sectors.

The requirements of the position will include:

• Deliver design documentation for a variety of projects and interface with other disciplines
• The ability to lead single & multidisciplinary design packages
• A strong client-facing experience, both externally & internally
• Work closely with our Digital teams to ensure a consistent approach for project delivery
• Possibility to take on line management responsibilities for existing staff members

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with significant experience in a design environment.
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt & work effectively with teams both in Melbourne & interstate
• A self-starter, someone who is comfortable to work autonomously and drive own performance
• Comfort and a willingness to develop less experienced professionals to help further their own technical development
