Your new company
A busy Australian stainless steel company is seeking an eager and willing drafts person to join their stable and hardworking team with the option to work autonomously and independently with work life balance and flexi hours.
Located in one of the best southern suburbs of the Gold Coast with a great and long standing team you will work with a company that have stood the test of time within the industry. You will be working on a variety of custom jobs that are mainly focused on stainless steel projects for the commercial, residential and industrial space.
Your new role
You will have a strong and competent understanding of CAD drafting across the steel industry. You will have the opportunity to work on high end commercial/residential and industrial projects in a company that value their staff and want to enable their team to be the strongest they can in this ever evolving market. You will draw from past experience with AutoCAD, Revit or Solid Works, Solid Edge or Inventor.
What you'll need to succeed
Exposure to the Australian construction industry is vital, with a strong understanding of steel manufacturing projects. The client will consider people from a mechanical or manufacture background but an understanding of steel/stainless in the balustrade, doors, windows, handles etc. Also a can do attitude with the willingness to hit the ground running.
What you'll get in return
An on-going position with permanent hours at initially a casual basis with a strong potential to go Permanent with a salary paying $80-85K + Superannuation. Work alongside a hard-working boss, the chance to work with a lead competitor in the field who can help you grow and build your skill set.
