Our client is a market leading name in the construction sector, they have an enviable reputation for the quality of their work and the manner in which they treat their people.
We are actively searching for an experienced Design Manager with a thorough understanding of Main Roads (MRWA) specifications in relation to road construction, intersections and bridges and the like.
This role will primarily be focused on engaging and managing external consultants throughout design process to ensure they align closely with project requirements, while also working closely with in-house teams.
Key requirements for this role include:
- 10 years’ civil construction experience working with contractors in Australia, preferably WA
- Demonstrable design management experience including $20m+ MRWA projects
- Ability to work across the lifecycle of project, providing input not only into design but also constructability, cost and any other pertinent construction issues.
