Genesys Electronics Design provides complete electronic product and software development services from concept through to production.
Based in Pymble in Sydney's Northern suburbs, Genesys recently celebrated 25 years as a leading Electronics Engineering firm. We are walking distance from Gordon and Pymble railway stations. There is some onsite parking. or parking is available in surrounding streets.
This new role of Junior Electronics Technician has been created to provide support to our Engineers and Customers with the following main responsibilities:
- Testing and calibration of electronic components and equipment
- Processing receipts and deliveries of electronic goods
- Collating/recording test results
- Assist in the management of lab/test equipment and facilities
- Administrative tasks as required to support production/development work
- Respond to queries in relation to the status or production/development work
- Miscellaneous support tasks
No experience is required as full training will be provided. The role would suit a recent High School graduate, first year Uni student or Tafe student/graduate with the following key attributes:
- Interest in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- Strong Math and Physics results
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Email
- An excellent listener who can follow instructions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Motivated to perform tasks well and to completion
- Ability to track and prioritise multiple tasks
The role is casual up to 38 hours per week with the possibility to become permanent full time in the future. Hourly rate will depend on age and any experience.
