ABOUT THE COMPANY
You will join an industry recognised engineering consultancy firm, renowned for the quality of its design and documentation. This firm showcases a broad range of projects, including commercial, residential, educational and community projects, and is looking for an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to join it's design team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is a team player, can manage projects and enjoys continuous learning in the engineering industry. You will be involved in the projects from initial briefing and schematic stage and will manage the project through to completion.
DUTIES

Liaise with the drafting team, engineers and Clients for project delivery

Lead your own projects and work as part of the design team

Undertake design and documentation of your own projects from commencement to completion

Attend site inspections and project meetings (with clients, builders, architects, developers etc.)

Review all drafting work to ensure quality and adequate details are applied

Report to manager at every stage of the project

Role would consist of 80% civil engineering and 20% structural engineering
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
Highly proficient in the design and documentation of civil works related to residential, commercial, community and educational facilities.

6+ years in the engineering field

Experience with stormwater surface and below ground drainage, on-site detention, water sensitive urban design and road pavement design
-
Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber and structural detailing
-
Experience in Civil 3D would be of high benefit
