Our Background:
Work with one of Australia's leading integrators in the manufacturing, logistics and food and beverage industries. We are an Endorsed Wonderware control systems engineering company with over 20 years' experience, committed to providing across the floor solutions for automated control, vision, plant data collection/reporting and manufacturing execution. The successful applicant will join our branch of operations on the Central Coast, NSW to help us meet the increased demand.
Your role:
This is a role where the projects are diverse and varied, extending from PLC/Safety systems on the factory floor to HMI/Scada/MES systems running our plant.
You will be responsible for engineering design and software development of robust, stable, expandable and upgradable systems to meet our customers' needs.
Your Skills:
- Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering (or similar degrees), Diploma Electrical Engineering with experience
- PLC Programming
- Safety System Experience
- HMI & SCADA Programming
- Project Commissioning
- Database, MES and ERP systems exposure an advantage
Your Responsibilities:
- Gather project requirements and assist with preparation
- System design, development, testing, training and commissioning for key strategic projects
- Identify new technology appropriate for use at Crossmuller
Software you will use:
PLC, HMI/SCADA, MES, C#.NET, SQL applications
Communication Protocols:
Ethernet IP, Profinet, DeviceNET, Profibus, ASi-Interface
Our integration partners:
Wonderware, Rockwell, Siemens, Microsoft
The successful applicant will demonstrate good communication skills, time management, be proactive and thorough, be able to work independently, be adaptable and also be a good team player. Driver's licence essential.
The Rockwell and/or Siemens Automation suite of software and hardware will be something you have an in-depth knowledge of.
Exposure to the Wonderware (Schneider) suite of software will be an advantage.
