Here at Campbell Arnott’s we’re after our next talented Associate Process Engineer to join our R&D team on a 12 month contract!
In this role you will be working on technically challenging projects under brands such as Tim Tam, Mint Slice and Ice VoVo, implementing new technology as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and creating innovative process solutions that provide tight process control along our manufacturing lines. Your collaborative nature will see you partner with various teams such as quality, site operations and engineering to review and map processes to implement improvements seamlessly.
You will have a passion for assessing and determining equipment modifications or improvements to enable scale up from lab to pilot to factory scale. You will coordinate and support factory trials drawing on your understanding of existing process functionality and how improvements can be achieved.

The ingredients you need to be extraordinary in this role
So what do you need to bring to such an amazing role?
- 1-3 years previous experience in Process Engineering in industries with high GMP or HACCP requirements such as Food, Pharmaceuticals or FMCG is desirable
- Ideally you will have a degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry
- Strong desire to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interact with internal stakeholders from different levels of the organisation
- Can handle time timeframes and can make technical decision in real time
