The opportunity
An exciting opportunity to make a contribution to the Service Performance Team has become available. The role is responsible for ensuring operational assets are fit-for-purpose now, and available to deliver services to our customers into the future. You will contribute to the success of the organisation by providing leadership, technical capability and support in the protection of City West Water assets. Additionally, this role is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, continual improvement, management and co-ordination of the asset Corrosion Management Program.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Tertiary Qualifications in Science or Engineering and current driver’s license
• Knowledgeable in working with various Australian Corrosion Standards
• Experience in design and cathodic protection technology
• Skilled in Project Management
• Knowledgeable in developing and managing budgets
• Program development skills and demonstrated experience
• Highly developed interpersonal skills including communication (written and verbal)
• The ability to provide high levels of customer service
• The ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels with staff, customers and suppliers
• Self –motivated and motivates others
• Demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and display a self-managed and proactive approach to resolving complex issues
