The Role:
In relation to road infrastructure projects:
- Provide support & advice on the planning & design process to ensure delivery of project outcomes, value for money & best practice
- Undertake tendering and estimating activities
- Determine the engineering requirements involved in supporting project management and delivery
- Conduct assessments of road infrastructure and recommend engineering solutions
- Apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements
- Ensure all quality management procedures are adhered to
- Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by Engineers Australia
- Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within 6 months of commencement
