Torque Recruitment are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer Assistant for permanent position in Victoria, Australia working in the renewable energy sector.

The position:

• Offering either 3:1 roster drive in drive out OR Monday - Saturday depending on where you are situated from site
• Perfect opportunity to break into the renewable energy sector
• Company head office based in Melbourne with an office just opened in Brisbane CBD
• Opportunity to move from site to site
• Solar farms from 70mw - 400mw

• Offering a permanent salary + super + laptop + mobile phone + the use of a site vehicle and allowances to those on rosters

Duties:

• Oversee subcontractors and utilities for solar farm instillations
• Providing reliability and engineering expertise
• Supporting maintenance areas in specific areas of the project
• Ensuring that engineering standards are met on site
• Implement a drive for maintenance improvement strategies
• Managing and performing technical engineering designs and sketches as required to communicate structural engineering requirements
• Producing technical reports
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, estimates and management of the project

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree
• 2+ years’ experience preferably but not essential in power generation
