Purpose of the Company
Dowling Metal Products is a manufacturer of metal products, in Murwillumbah NSW. We have big plans and big goals witch depend heavily on our technology and even more on our people.
Purpose of the Role
We know steel and how to punch, cut and bend it - but we need your help to ensure our customers ideas and designs are understood, drawn and entered into our system for production.
The purpose of the role is to strengthen communication and trust with clients and staff.
The Drafter / Estimator is the first point of contact in our production process and has the important role of ensuring accurate quotes are produced that give the client the product they need.
Goals
Our business model is to provide manufactured metal parts to medium and large manufacturers Australia wide, many of whom are household names. It’s a large market that we can grow into by delivering the highest quality parts in the shortest possible time-frames. We can only achieve this if customers are confident that our drafting and estimating team has got their back.
Candidate Attributes
A sound knowledge of CAD.
CNC Programming Experience highly regarded.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Customer Service Experience.
Confidence to work with clients to understand their true needs.
High attention to detail – particularly when entering critical order and design data.
Efficient data entry and great communication skills are a must to be successful in this role.
