Overview
CSG Talent have been briefed on an exciting opportunity with a leading FMCG organisation who have numerous plants here in Sydney. This particular site is best in Western Sydney.
The Role
- Manage capital projects throughout the manufacturing facility involving the installing and upgraduing equipment.
- In accordance with Site Contractor Management policy, service provider contractors are all supervised and follow all site policies and procedures.
- Ensuring all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner.
- Preparation and management of Capital Purchase Appropriation (CPA) as required.
- Lead, manage and report on capital projects associated with site engineering in line with project management concepts and the site PMO process.
- Provide support to the engineering team to ensure all Manufacturing and Packaging equipment is operational and maintained to achieve required uptime.
- Ensure procedures (e.g. SOPs) and engineering drawings, are created and maintained in accordance with Corporate and regulatory requirements as they relate to utilities and services.
The Person
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- 5 years' Experience working within FMCG or Food
- Degree in an Engineering / Manufacturing / Science related field or coming up through an engineering background with a focus on projects.
- Capital Project Management
- Able to manage a range of sub-contractors simultaneously
- Ideally trained in lean / six sigma / Route Cause analysis
- Strong track record of delivering projects in time and under budget. Please include specific examples in your application.
