Field Service Engineers – Single and 3-Phase UPS’s

Our Client is a leading National Electrical and Communications Infrastructure Contractor and Service provider. Their comprehensive range of services including equipment supply, installation, maintenance and emergency response options, that are tailored to suit their Customers’ needs. Experiencing substantial growth the company are seeking Field Service Engineers experienced with Single and 3-Phase UPS installation, Commissioning and Maintenance to join their team.
Roles are available within Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Reporting to the National Service Manager your responsibilities can be summarised as follows:
- Daily Installation, Commissioning, Service & Maintenance support of customers’ critical equipment. Work on major brands of UPS equipment from 1kVA to 1 MVA .
- As Service Team Member, provide efficient service delivery to all accounts.
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify & define project technical reqm’ts, scope and objectives.
- Compiling preventative maintenance schedules, ordering & repairing spare parts and battery replacements.
As a minimum, the successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree/ Diploma with a min 3 years field service exp.
- Exp. in service & maintaining APC, Emerson or Eaton single & three phase UPS Units.
- Exp. in Power Electronics with both AC & DC systems.
- Exp. in DC Battery install & mtce, fault finding and repairs to battery monitoring systems.
- Resourceful with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient with the full MS suite.
