Ausplow is a leading machinery manufacturer in the agricultural sector with a well-established customer base and a reputation for being at the forefront of design innovation.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced mechanical design engineer to join our engineering team. The work will involve small to medium sized projects for a mechanical biased CAD based designer to assist production and NPD engineering to achieve their deliverables.
Reporting to the engineering manager and working closely alongside the other members of the team, the ideal candidate will need to meet the following qualifications, attributes and experience:
Essential Selection Criteria (minimum requirements) :
- Minimum of a Degree in engineering or proof of an equivalent qualification/experience.
- Experience in a mechanical design engineer capacity within a busy engineering office.
- Experience working from within a heavy industrial product manufacturing company setting.
- Excellent up to date knowledge of Autodesk Inventor with both 3D modelling and 2D drawing generation.
- Eligible to work in Australia
Ideal Selection Criteria:
- Experience designing the following:
- Steel fabricated structures
- Sheet metal assemblies
- Machined parts
- Mechanical assemblies
- Practical experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault
- Experience with off highway machinery, especially agricultural products.
- General agricultural experience will be highly regarded.
