About this Opportunity

Based in Harvey, Western Australia (140km south of Perth), Harvey Fresh has an challenging and exciting vacancy for a Project Engineer, who reports through to the National Engineering Manager. You will be required to utilise your expertise in engineering and project management to provide technical support and management for major continuous improvement programs and capital engineering project work to be carried out.

The role is a hands on position, you will be expected to manage each project from conception through to completion, along with completing monthly financial reporting on status of the sites Capex program for the year.

To succeed in this role you will:

• Hold degree qualifications in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering;
• Previous Project Engineering experience within the food manufacturing industry;
• Be a team player who is commercially savvy and possesses a level of understanding of OH&S that is commensurate with a FMCG manufacturing environment;
• Possess excellent communication skills, along with your problem solving ability, time management and organisational skills which are likely to be tested by the varying challenges in a FMCG business. If you have Automation and Project Management experience and/or qualifications these will be highly regarded.
