PTAS is continuing to grow strongly off the back of a number of exciting new technical innovations in electrical control switchboards, that has lead to several new longterm projects in both QLD & NSW. We are now seeking an experienced RPEQ Electrical Engineer for a leading growth position.
Our SEQCD-P Integrated Management System, successful certification of our unique Arc-Fault containment modular outdoor switchboards and the QR Online Customer Support System positions PTAS ahead of our peers.
Electrical Engineering Manager will be accountable for the overall design, certification and delivery of projects that fulfill customers' technical specification, while meeting business requirements for quality, timeliness, budget and client communications.
- Degree in electrical engineering, and appropriate experience. CEng / RPEQ qualifications with at least five years experience essential.
- 10 years experience designing and project management of electrical engineering within manufacturing, public infrastructure or heavy industry environment where quality, safety and robust project organisation is mandatory.
- Proven commercial skills (eg. negotiation, risk management, project planning, client relationships, construction site organising).
- Team leadership of engineers, designers and project managers.
The Successful Candidate will have extensive ability and interest in all aspects of designing electrical control switchboards and field systems that fulfill technical specifications, delivered through in-house manufacturing & site installation capabilities.
- At least 5 years experience designing and/or installing of electrical engineering in manufacturing, public infrastructure or similar industry environment.
- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software.
- Well developed projects management (CAPM) and technical skills with general industrial plant control system design knowledge.
- Ability to co-ordinate multiple projects through a motivated team.
