About The Company and The Role
 
This position is with a National Tier 2 civil contractor which currently has several large projects running within NSW. They now require an experienced Environmental Coordinator to work on one of their Sydney based projects, starting asap.
 
The role will report into the Project Manager and requires someone with prior experience in civil construction, has RMS experience, is degree qualified and has a full driving licence.  
 
Responsibilities
 
• Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental legislation
• Carrying out relevant testing e.g. soil, water, noise etc
• Compiling reports and putting together environmental documentation
• Liaising with senior managers on all environmental related issues
• Other adhoc duties as required
 
 
As The Successful Candidate You Will Have:
 
• A degree or other relevant territory qualification
• Prior experience working in civil construction
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• A full driver's licence
• Excellent people and communication skills
• A positive attitude and a good work ethic
• The ability to work as part of a team
