We are a small established Engineering practice in the bayside area, and require an Engineer with a minimum 10 years experience in Structural Engineering design in the local construction industry, and Chartered membership with the Institution of Engineers Australia. Registration as a Building Practitioner in Victoria is essential.
Applicants should also have good communication and report writing skills, be self motivated, able to consult directly with clients and manage drafting staff.
Experience in the design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, timber and aluminium structures is also required.
Many of our projects are unusual and require unorthodox and independant analysis methods, the ability to think laterally will be an advantage.
Experience with Space Gass and excel spreadsheets will also be an advantage.
