This firm is are pre-qualified at the highest levels to undertake road and bridgeworks throughout Australia, and offer services in design, construction (including earthworks and road works), project management, bridgework and concrete structures, major traffic management schemes and community infrastructure.

Your new role

This is a permanent role based in Brisbane, initially tendering and then out to site one projects are won. It will be very hands on role which provides exposure to a number of different aspects to the firm and project teams. You will assist in developing all tender and project objectives, project specifications, determine project schedules, control the project costs, assist the Project Manager on the delivery of technical aspects of projects, coordinate personnel to prepare for on and off maintenance works, liaise with relevant stakeholders including Government and local council, prepare risk assessments and assist in the administration of the project including monthly claims, variations and EOT’s.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent
• Significant experience delivering civil infrastructure construction projects for State authorities
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (MS Suite, Viewpoint and or ASTA desirable)
• Knowledge of Company Quality procedures, Work Health and Safety Act and HR/IR Procedures
• Familiarity with WHS and Environmental legislation and ability to produce Safe Work Method Statements for all trades/activities
• Thorough understanding of client specifications and ability to produce ITP’s for all trades.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare contractual claims and variations
• Detailed knowledge of head and sub contract agreements.
• Ability to develop, implement and manage budgets and forecasts.
