The Opportunity/Team

The Maintenance team have a brand new opportunity for a Control Systems Coordinator who will provide solutions for automation process and service issues.  Guidance and support regarding regulatory engineering related design, test and operation of plant and equipment is required of this role. 

Additionally, the Control Systems Coordinator will:

• Provide process control and operational advice on existing and proposed plant.
• Provide project management support for capital and new projects.
• Perform a pivotal role in reviewing process and design revisions.
• Actively contribute to plant optimisation projects to further the efficiency of the plant.
• Actively pursue the development & improvement of the site's preventative maintenance system, and the reduction of unplanned (breakdown) work.
• Assist site team with development of Site information systems.
• Support and/or attend to plant breakdowns and effectively manage unplanned work to meet plant utilisation and efficiency requirements.

Additionally you will:

• Have experience as an automation technician or similar within a food manufacturing environment.
• Possess at least 5 years programming experience
• Hold a current Electrical A Class Licence
• Be proficient with Allen Bradley, Danfoss, Yokogawa, Siemens, Sick, Pilz, Endress & Hauser. Compentency with Asi, Profibus, Wonderware & Mex highly advantageous. 
• Commit to responsible safety, quality and environmental management
• Ensure all work practices meet current regulations and codes of practice
• Be a self-starter with strong levels of drive and initiative
• Have the capacity to work effectively through the maintenance team and to develop effective relationships with the broader supervisory team
• Have strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to develop an effective network with key individuals
• Understanding productivity technologies such as CMMS, AutoCad, MS Office and MS Windows products will be deemed favourable
